FCC Arquitectura & interior designer Paulo Lobo were responsible for creating the amazing Hotel Monverde in winery Quinta da lixa in Amarante Portugal. The 30-room hotel was created with an existing building and some new. The idea was to create a space to relax, enjoy wine & rural side. It was very important for the project conserve as much of the old building & respects all natural environments. The main elements that connect the entire hotel aesthetically and warm are the use of wood and green color. Monverde has a spa, indoor and outdoor pools, wine tours, wine tastings & facilities for conferences or events. I really like the mixed of old with new design, creating a harmony between the structures and the natural environment. This wine experience hotel is perfect for any wine lover.
