blends ruined structures with modern elements.
This stunning hotel resort design is the Niop Hacienda in Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, is simply magical the way it mix the ruined stone structures with modern elements to create a wonderful villa with chapel to host events & have incredible holidays. The project was designed by AS Arquitectura, the main idea was to conserve the character of old structure. I love the colors & textures of the old structure they have so much character & mix perfectly with the bamboo, that is one of the modern materials. What catch my attention at first, was the amazing entrance made with a bamboo ceiling, showing at the end of the tunnel the great ocean. Other fantastic element is the rustic & wild style created with the roots of trees & stone with little splashes of red. Simply breath taking.
