Bar Nou in Barcelona was created by Maio who designed a simple space which activates the senses. To attract attention from outside windows displays neon pictographs as a glass of wine, a tomato, a pitcher & bread. Behind neon figures you can see plywood arches suspended from the ceiling representing the Spanish vernacular architecture. The furniture is classic woven bulrushes with a modern twist as yellow color. Is a modern version of Spanish traditions.
