This weekend the posts are inspired by two major important people in my life. Today's post is inspired by my 5 years old nephew, whose birthday is today ;) Happy birthday to the best nephew ever. The Rainbow Net belongs to crochet palygorund designed by Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam at the Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park in Japan. It is an art installation made by hand for three years; The Rainbow net was inspired by the Multiple Hammock No. 1 (a previous sculpture by the artist) which was used by two kids, giving a sense of life to the sculpture, which the Hammock No. 1 did not have before. Artist Toshiko design the Rainbow net, giving a purpose to art & what can be better than a playground. I love the idea of the interaction with art.
