AJA Restaurant in Chandigarh India was designed by Arch.Lab. AJA is a space created with unexpected landscapes that combines nature with art, giving a new idea of contemporary urban food culture. The design plays with psychology & senses to separate physically and psychologically from the outside world, creating meaningful experiences. To enter AJA you have to walk on a ramp that has different herbs, flavors & designs. The ramp is the connector between two environments & a wonderful transition. The main material is concrete representing the urban world & as concrete can be molded into any shape, was a key material to creating the concept & design of AJA. The restaurant is built around "The community table", which emphasizes AJA’s concept based on collaboration and community.
