This impressive dining room is filled with life; it is amazing how the dining table and chairs contrast with the black walls. It's nice how the design brings colors in with accessories and furniture that make the room flexible to changes at any time. The color palette is perfect to give life to the dark room & plays a major role in the eclectic style room.
This beautiful room with modern feminine style is composed by impeccable details, giving life to a wonderful atmosphere. If you do not really like colors, you can introduce then in your space as this sofa with soft color; I think it's always important to have at least one colorful piece in the spaces of your home. I love how the feminine style is accentuated with nice curves & splashes of gold around the room. It’s a very cool sophisticated living space.
Miu Miu store in Tokyo was created by Herzog & de Meuron. The concept is based on having a small intimate space, a design aimed to be more like a House than a store, more dark that transparent, private than open; These ideas are opposed to the concept of the Prada Boutique in the same street. With these ideas, is how the concept of a box with a slightly open face became a reality. The cozy space that attracts your attention begins, under the inclined facade plane, from where you can see the two levels of the building; it appears as if a giant cutter had cut it to blend the indoors and outdoors. Inside Miu Miu is extravagant whit a lot of lime green, bronze, red, pattern, textures & shapes.
This amazing collection of lamps called NEST creates a magical shade with a delicate pattern. It has different floor & table lamps. I love how NEST’s pattern evokes nature & provides a feeling of lightness. They can be combined with spaces of modern, contemporary or romantic style.
This beautiful nursery in blue & white is a dream come true. The project Hudson's Moon & stars nursery inspired in mom's favorite book "Goodnight Moon" & designed by Sweet Lullaby. The project is based on only three colors white, blue & silver splashes; interest in space is created by the shapes and textures. For a baby, I see it as space for relaxing and dreaming. It's just a wonderful bedroom for a newborn.
Kinder Garden in Chroscice Poland was created by PORT. The design plays with different colors, shapes & environments to provide the best tools to aid development for children of different ages. As you might know, the children discover the world & learn with 5 senses, & the environments where they spend time playing a major role in development. This kindergarten is a great example of how in one place we can create fantastic worlds for children of different ages & needs. For the youngest ones the color is orange which represents the earth, inviting children to discover & learn by exploring with the sense of touch, to learn about weight & balance. For the older group was chosen the color green that reflects natural environment. The green room has access to a garden that provides contact with wildlife, birds & butterflies. The purple room was made for the introduction of art & world cultures, to develop creativity & taste for older age groups. This kindergarten offers a guide to understanding surroundings.
This charming living space nicely applies symmetry rule; it is fantastic as there is symmetry in architecture, different lamps, side tables and cushions, but does not seem overwhelming. I love the palette of earth tones with a touch of blue & how it brings nature with the leaves rug & wooden tables.
Designer Stéphane Leathead has created Exocet for Designarium Studio, a chair that can be transforming. Exocet is composed by two identical slats assembled with a rotating cylinder, so you can change the shape according to the position you choose. The main feature is its fantastic ergonomic design that gives comfort in any position without stress or any pain, having your whole body with proper support.
The Oceana Beach Hotel in Santa Monica was redesigned by Anthony Baratta. The concept is the vibe of the beach clubs in the 60's.The reception seems like a magic scene of director Wes Anderson; I love the 60's style desk mixed with modern benches & area rug. The color palette is fascinating, it immediately evokes a sunny cozy beach; this combined with vintage wooden furniture and walls contrast & enliven the soft color palette.
This splendid scrub polish bar is the eau spa in Palm Beach Ritz-Cartol hotel. I love the idea of showing herbal tea products in this space with a design bakery aspect. It's great to create a spa following a design commonly used in bakeries so you do not really know what to expect of the place, but at the same time creates intrigue & a strong desire to enter. The color palette is lovely to create a Moroccan inspirer spa.
