Is all about nature
Those beautiful interlocking leaf seats were designed by Nico. the seat is handmade with sustainable materials such as oak & wool. I love the whole concept inspired 100% by nature, first with a wonderful leaf shape & then using respectful materials with the environment that help protect the planet. One great thing about Leaf Seat is its versatility, you can put up to 7 together to create a bench, a day bed or individual stools. Also you ca play with the colors according with the room where they will placed. For me this design is a great option for homes or offices where you do different activities just in one place.
Today I will like to finish my post talking about the importance & responsibility we have as human beings to care our home.
I believe that everybody from their own work can do daily small or "bigger" actions, that contribute to care the planet. In design, I consider the possibilities to contribute with the care of the planet are endless & today with technology we have the ability to transform harmful materials into better new products, that can be used by others industries. I also think many people assume they can not do anything for the care of the planet, but even small actions such as be aware if the package of products you use is eco friendly or separate our garbage according to their origin, make much difference.
A Mexican design full of colors & joy
Casa dos Chicos is a vacation villa located in Sayulita Mexico. The amazing design was created by an Italian architect & interior designer who wants to introduce simple lines & shapes mixed with the beautiful colors & joy of Mexican design. I love the 360 degrees view, you can see the jungle, valley & ocean of the area. Is incredible the amount of details you can find, one of my favorite detail is the concrete columns pattern, that gives a sense of natural texture. Other element I love are all those vibrant colors in social areas & the private areas are mostly white with vibrant color splashes. The place is completely surrounded by nature, connecting your soul & body with its power.
Today I want to present a great design from a Spanish designer that I recently discovered, Jaime Hayon.
This amazing studio & discovery area at the Groninger Museum in Netherlands was created by Jaime Hayon. Its an area where artists & visitors can created their own pieces & interact with art in a different way. I love all the graphic shapes on the windows, walls & furniture. These rooms are inspired by the jungle bringing the theme in a sophisticate & modern way. Fantastic idea & way to explore art & creative world.

I love how the design use one strong color & on top place graphic elements such as furniture pieces, light or patterns. The furniture is very creative with graphics inspired by nature. Also the furniture is not only decorative but also functional in a fun way. My favorite thing about it is the way light is introduced according to the environment. These great designs were made by Lago.
A wonderful space to get away
This amazing project was created by Andersson Wise Architects, in United States. The stunning camp is all about materials. The house is made with local stone & wood that reminds you the magical place you're in, surrounding by a forest & lake. Something very special about the design is that you can move certain walls to open the house or make it more private. I also love the different textures & ways the materials are presented, sometimes as small pieces, creating certain pattern & sometimes big with a different look.
I found a wonderful article in Italian Bark blog, that talks about some tips to create a wall gallery. The article mentioned three rules to make your gallery; Symmetrical, asymmetrical & cluster. This rules will help you to construct your wall gallery in a way it looks balance, interesting & more crisp. Ones you choose the type of composition you want, you can create it by mixing different objects such as paintings, photos, mirrors, plates & some more.

A gallery with a home concept.
This amazing design is a gallery space created in a Copenhagen apartment of a XVIII building. The building is situated in an old neighborhood, Christianshavn which is a district with a lot of character. The Apartment is a new way to show design objects, furniture, antiques, art & host events. The gallery was designed by Tina Seidenfaden Busck & Pernille Hornhaver. I love the way all those colorful element create a home mood in a place like a gallery. Other great thing about the space is how every element is located perfectly, the amount of care for details is wonderful. Also I love that you go to The Apartment to buy things for your own space, but you also get fantastic ideas about how to decorate your place.
